Mussels

I love mussels! Someday I’m going to eat “Mussels in Brussels”…well, make that Brugge…but it’s more fun to say Mussels in Brussels. I’m out of town, house-sitting again for friends who are eating “Mussels in Brugge” without me. Sigh. Tomorrow they move on to Copenhagen, one of my favorite places in the world.

Group Winner

PET Results

I’ve just returned from Dr. Cui’s office where I learned that my tumor is smaller…..but she was unable to quantify “smaller”. The radiologist didn’t measure the tumor…..I don’t know why. I asked….”he just didn’t”.
The PET scan showed that the cancer is confined to my stomach with no nodes involved so I’ll have surgery [...]

Puppies’ First Solid Food

Sophie’s puppies are now 3 weeks old.  Their eyes are open, they’re walking around and they’ve had their first taste of solid food.  They’re all good eaters but Celie is perhaps a bit more enthusiastic than the rest!
