I’m going to inflict two more beach photos on you! We had a perfect day on Haena Beach today…my favorite beach on Kauai…the same beach that they used as Bali Hai in “South Pacific”. This is a view from the beach.

On Saturday, we began the day with a walk on the beach at Hanalei Bay. We walked down to the shore past the Princeville Hotel which is currently under renovation. It’s a beautiful location and apparently a good surfiing spot as well. We saw many surfers, waiting for the right wave.

On Thursday, we visited local sites near our northshore condo in Princeville. On Friday, we headed south, going as far as Po’ipu Beach on the south end of the island. We woke this morning to the sound of a rooster crowing. Chickens run free throughout Kauai. We found this family at the Anini Beach this afternoon.
