I’m writing from Estes Park, Colorado, home of the 2008 National Beagle Club Specialty and, on Monday and Tuesday, the Rocky Mountain Beagle Club Specialty. It’s 3:40 am and I can’t sleep so I’m learning how to post from my PDA. The hotel’s business center consists of one public computer in the lobby so it’s good to have my PDA.
We arrived yesterday afternoon after 3 days of driving. The road approaching Estes Park winds through the mountains, alongside a river where flyfishermen were fishing for trout. When we drove through town, a herd of a dozen elk were lying in the middle of the city park and deer were grazing across the street from our hotel.
